Hi, has anyone actually won one of these competitions only they sound fantastic. My son is completing his degree next year in auto engineering and eventually wants to work in motorsport, needless to say were both huge F1 fans. I've been entering all F1 Vodafone comps for a very long while without success.

Here's hoping that that we get better luck with the latest trip to the Barcelona GP fingers and toes crossed.

Obviously given the nature of the prizes, there are only a limited number of winners each time. Keep trying though, there's always the chance you'll win!

Yes it's probably easier to win the lottery! However as my mother used to say you have to be in it to win it and she was always lucky with raffle prizes etc so I'll keep on trying especially with Vodafone F1 competitions.

Yes couldn't agree more, I never miss watching the GP's on TV and this year has so far been one of the most competitive for many years. However I've never been to a race so to win one of these competitions would be a dream come true.

there are definetly winners out there. i won last year and spent a wonderful unforgetable wet weekend at silverstone , the grandstand is fantastic right opposite the end of the pits and lewis and jensen came round and done a q & a session, i am eagerly awaiting  this years winners text.

Wow sounds like you had a great experience thanks to Vodafone. I've never seen a live F1 GP so it would be something very special should I win especially as Lewis & Jenson are my favourite two drivers.

think the original ticket draw was 15th so we would have heard by now, however the one with pit access finished today so winner will find out probs tomorrow.

mind its not all bad news my daughter is going to the wireless festival to see riannha courtesy of vodafone vip, i am a bit too old for this type of music now.

Oh dear I'm sorry to say it looks like I've missed out again this year. However I won't give up trying as these Vodafone VIP F1 competitions are most definitely money can't buy experiences.

Just to give all you guys faith in Vodafone again, I have won 4 tickets for the full weekend for this years Silverstone GP. Myself and the 3 (very lucky) friends I'm taken are massive F1 fan so couldn't believe it when I got the text telling me I'd won. Like you I thought no one ever won these things. Apparently they do, winnnnner!!!

It will be my first F1, roll on the 6th to the 9th!!!

Thanks for letting me know that there are genuine people put there that win this competitions. It's also good to hear that just like me you're into F1. Unfortunately many of these VIP tickets I've seen recently for sale on EBay obviously won by those that have no passion for the sport. That really hurts as I so want to see my first live GP with my son.

chelsea1952, I've taken a look and can't see any Vodafone ones? Even if there were, they're not transferrable so there'd be no way of anyone else using them- the seller would end up giving the money back.

Tom I assure you over the past week I've seen at least two or three people selling them. I questioned one of them and he said the tickets were transferable.
