A data sim Card ? .

Can i use a normal sim card , one i can get from Tesco as a data sim card  ? . I need one for my dongle.

You would have to see if the Dongle is Unlocked to accept any Networks Sim Card.

Its locked to Vodafone , so i know i will need a vodafone sim.

Tesco is 5 mins away

Vodaphone shop is a 45 mins drive + parking etc .

Ok so a mobile phone sim card  , can me used as a data sim card

You can but as the Dongle is locked to Vodafone it'll have to be a Vodafone Sim you use - Not a Tesco one.
