Can not install Mobile Broadband Software

I have a Vodafone USB stick, and although it used to work, now the software is not installed, and it will not install. Whenever I try (from either the dongle, or the website), once installed, when I try open the shortcut I get this attached error and it will not open. My dongle is a K4505.

Can someone help?

Could you do me a favour and completely uninstall and remnants left over of the modem from previous installs?

Once this is done, please restart the machine twice and then try a fresh installation.

Could you also let me know which version of Vodafone Mobile Broadband you are trying to install and if it will work on another laptop?

Please also let me know the operating system and which service pack you are running.
