Getting a DNS error and DNS resolution problem using 3G but over Sure Signal.
only happens on 1 specific website:
Error returned in Chrome:
Web page not available
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
Samsung S4 Active on Contract
Same website Works fine under:
Wifi
3G on O2
3G on Three
Can't test it on real 3G as no 3G in location from Voda so using a Sure Signal.
Other websites and SSL sites all work fine.
Just this one site in question:

Hi @cfitzpat
As a supplement site, this will be categorised under drugs and medicine.
These types of sites are restricted by default by content control.
You can remove this any time via My Vodafone.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben,
Thanks for responding but I think you have been a little premature in your "resolved status" unfortunately and I'm not sure this is the case at all Ben. But it was a good suggestion all the same.
1. If I go to a content restricted site I do see the vodafone content message appear.
2. content restriction has now been removed and I can now access content restricted sites without any issues and content flash page is now longer presented.
3. I notice if I goto another site on the same ip address:
that this gives me the same DNS errors.
4. If I put in the IP address of the server it works and I get presented with the default server page for the ip address.
Personally I think this is an issue with your own internal DNS servers.
If you do various DNS checks the domains look fine but for some reason via your network they don't resolve correctly.
Thanks,
Chris

Do I take it then from the lack of response you only respond to easy quick fix answers?
Not heard anything.
Seems that the internal DNS servers in Vodafone are not responding correctly with the correct information/values.
If you don't know how to resolve the problem can you please then escalate it to the correct dept that can?

To be honest that kind of response time is appalling.
We've worked around this by using a 3rd party intermediary firewall/cache which has resulted in us changing DNS NS and it now works.
So it is your internal DNS caching that is at fault.
Thanks,
Chris
