I am a owner of the Amazon Kindle HDX tablet. I only just discovered that there that in the mobile option that you can select 4G only instead of using the default auto GSM/3G/LTE.
Since setting this on 4G only, I did not realised how good the 4G coverage is here at Greater London. Great for uninteruppted video streaming. Don't forget there is also a 3g only option as well. When I commute from Croydon to Central London, I always get 4G coverage and most of the time when I travel from Croydon to Shoreham by Sea.
On my mobile phone during the same commute, I get mixed 3g/4G and sometime E coverage, which means streaming is not that good.
