Mobile BroadBand - Activate Sim?

Hello

I have been using the Vodafone service for over a year now and i have never had this problem.
Just tried to connect thropugh a VPN connection and it did'nt work, So i tried on VMC and after about 5mins of nothing, An error pops up saying "This sim is not activated"

How do i fix this?

Hi XxGothicNightxX,

As this has only just happend I will need a few pieces of information from you;

When was the last time it was working?
Is it PAYT or Contract?

If PAYT -

Is there credit on the account?
Has it been used in the last 30-60 days?
If not used in last 60 days the SIM may now be deactivated.

If contract -

Place the SIM in a phone and try and connect to the internet, does it connect?

If not then the SIM has become faulty and you will need to get this replaced free of charge in your local Vodafone store.

If it does connect, place the SIM back in the modem, is the issue resolved?

If not then it is a faulty modem which will need to be repaired.
