Hello everybody,

In the summer I was in Menorca and went to phone shop and asked for a spanish sim for my laptop.I was told that the one I purchased would go into my existing dongle all I had to do was change the sim from uk to spanish ,no problem senor. Well it doesn't work and after several visits back to the store it still doesn't work. What do I do to make it work.My laptop is a Dell Studio running Windows Vista.

Hi Glenn

Welcome to the Vodafone eForum. :)

Is the dongle unlocked?

They are locked to Vodafone UK as default, and I'm unsure if it would work even on Vodafone Spain if still locked.

You'd also need to change the APN settings to Vodafone Spain, as at the moment, they'd be set to Vodafone UK.

To access the APN settings follow the guide below:

Manage Devices -> Right Click Device -> Edit -> APN Tab

The settings you need are:

Operator: - Vodafone (Airtel)
GPRS APN: - airtelnet.es
Username: - vodafone
Password: - vodafone

Let me know how you get on.
