R201 - unable to connect

Hi,
I've bought a second hand R201 and want to use a PAYG dim, I be topped up, changed settings to Prepaid, but it comes up with "Disconnected" - (Mobile Broadband Connection Is Not Open)
I've wasted 1.50hr on the online help! & 1/2hr on the customer service line!...
Can anyone help me with the settings!!

There are a number of things we'd need to check to see where the issue lies.

 

Does your current Payg SIM support data?

Have you tested it in a phone? Are you able to connect to the internet?

 

I'd recommend taking the dongle and SIM into a Vodafone store, so that they can do these checks for you and help further.
