Trying to buy a 3G data pack. It states 4G.

Hello. This morning I wanted to buy a 1GB, £10 3G data pack for my 3G broadband dongle. When the drop down list appeared to select the pack I need, all of them state 4G and not 3G. They used to have a list stating both 3G and 4G.

(this is an example: 1GB 4G 30 DAYS £10).

I have not had this before. Is anyone else seeing this.

Thanks. Tom

A 4G pack would allow data usage on any speed up to 4G so it includes 3G access by default. Since they stopped charging a premium for 4G access, it's included by default in all their data access packages. Thus, that's the same as your old 1GB 3G pack, except you also get access to 4G as and where conditions allow it as a free bonus.
