USB Dongle not detected

Can you please advise if there is a driver I need to install so my USB dongle (K4203-Z) will work on my Sony latop (model PCG-71911M).

Dongle is not detected and the light just flashes red.

I know the dongle works as on my Dell laptop I can browse the internet using 3G.

Hi there,

Try these following steps.

1. Download latest software for Mobile Broadband. Click here

2. Downlaod latest Windows Drivers. Click here

3. select Vodafone mobile broadband stick.

4. Then right click on Computer icon and go to Manage (Computer Management) → Device Manager → Network adapters

5. In Network adapters you will see the Vodafone Mobile Broadband Network Adapter.

6. Then Right click on the Vodafone Mobile Broadband Network Adapter and click on the Update Driver Software and then click on Browse My Computer For driver software.

7. Then Browse Driver Software location at C:\ and click on the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

8. Now click on the Show Compatible Hardware and then select Vodafone Mobile Broadband Network Adapter and click Next. That is all done, The Vodafone Mobile Broadband Network Adapter Updated Successfully.
