Program Error!
The type initializer for 'VMC.UI.CommonDialogs.DisplayMessages' threw an exception. System.ArgumentException: Font 'Tahoma' does not support style 'Regular'. at System.Drawing.Font.CreateNativeFont() at System.Drawing.Font.Initialize(FontFamily family, Single emSize, FontStyle style, GraphicsUnit unit, Byte gdiCharSet, Boolean gdiVertical Font) at System.Drawing.Font.Initialize(String familyName, Single emSize, FontStyle style, GraphicsUnit unit, Byte gdiCharSet, Boolean gdiVerticalFont) at System.Drawing.Font..ctor(String familyName, Single emSize) at VMC.UI.CommonDialogs.DisplayMessages..cctor()
Anyone know how to solve this?

Hey chinyue,
Many thanks for your post regarding the error you've encountered on your dongle.
Have you any idea how this error came about?
Are you able to connect to the internet?
If not, what light sequence/colour do you see on the dongle?
To be honest, I've never seen this error before and I've spoken with our technical specialists and it's new to them as well.
Can you provide me with more information to work with and if you can answer the above questions too, that'd be great.
Cheers,
Lee

Umm I just double click the 'Vodafone Mobile Broadband' Icon on the desktop and this error keeps popping up. I don't know how to connect to the internet but the light on the dongle is blue blinking. I just updated to the latest version and the error seems to be the same:
System.TypeInitializationException: The type intializer for 'Vodafonr.CommonDialogs.DisplayMessages' threw an exception. ---> System.ArgumentException: Font 'Tahoma' does not support style 'Regular'
at System.Drawing.Font.CreateNativeFont()
at System.Drawing.Font.Initialize(FontFamily family, Single emSize, FontStyle style, GraphicsUnit unit, Byte gdiCharSet, Boolean gdiVertical Font)
at System.Drawing.Font.Initialize(String familyName, Single emSize, FontStyle style, GraphicsUnit unit, Byte gdiCharSet, Boolean gdiVerticalFont) at System.Drawing.Font..ctor(String familyName, Single emSize)
at VMC.UI.CommonDialogs.DisplayMessages..cctor()
---End of inner exception stack trace ---
at Vodafone.CommonDialogs.DisplayMessages.ReportInitialisationError(Exception ex)
at VMC.ApplicationHost.Impl.Program.Run()
at Vodafone.MobileBroadband.StartUp.Main(String[] args)
If there's no solution yet, is there a way to connect manually without the use of the Mobile Broadband software? Thanks!

Hi Toki316 / chinyue
Can you post your msinfo32 logs please?
• Go to Start Menu.
• Type msinfo32 in the search bar and hit return to open the System Configuration Utility.
• Select File and Export.
• Enter a file name and save the file.
Once I have this, I'll pass on the details to our device specialist to examine in more detail, and get a work around for you.

Trev
