Vodafone Mobile Broadband Sharing Dock R101

My R101 has worked for years but now flashes the power light once on power up. I don't remember it doing so before. Then it does nothing. I've tried the master reset but that does nothing either.  Is it time to but another?  Solo.

May I welcome you to the eforum. 

Looking at at what I believe is the User Manual ? The Power Light is meant to remain lit. You could ask in your most local Vodafone HighStreet Shop if they can help and advise.

It certainly sounds like it could be faulty.

It might be worth, (if you have one lying around) trying a different power cable. Just to see if it’s an issue with the cable or the device.

Thanks Wayne, I have been using the R101 on a yacht for the last three years and the battery volts can occaisionally rise to 14. 8 on charging - I think the R101 got fed up being treated to extra volts. I have tried it back on its proper power supply and got the same symptoms.  I am investing in a replacement unit that I will treat with more care. Thanks again for your input.
