Hi Everyone,

When we first moved to the new forum, we discussed how we'd decide what new boards to create, as well as when we'd merge older ones together due to low activity.

So that you know where boards have gone to and when, I'm creating this thread which we'll update whenever we close a board.

There's no exact rule to when we'll close a board and merge it into another one, but generally we'll look to close boards which have topics as much as two months old on the front page (within the first 30 topics).

When we close a board, the content will still stay on the forum, so don't worry that any of your great work will be lost.

The Maemo OS and N900 board has been merged into Nokia Devices.

The N8 board has been merged into Nokia Devices.

The Torch 9800 board has been merged into BlackBerry Devices.

The HTC Legend board has been merged into HTC Devices.

The HTC Magic board has been merged into HTC Devices

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 board has been merged into Sony Ericsson Devices

The Operating System Discussion board has been merged with Other Manufacturers to make the Other Manufacturers / Operating System Discussion board.

The HTC Desire HD and Z board has been merged with HTC Desire and Desire S to create the HTC Desire Series board.

The Xperia Arc and Play board has been merged with the Sony Ericsson board.

The Apple iPad 2 forum has been merged with the Apple forum.

The iPhone 4 and 4S boards have been merged with each other.

The HTC One S board has been merged with the HTC One X board to make the HTC One Series board

The HTC Sensation board has been removed and all threads moved to the HTC board.

The Google Nexus board has been removed and all threads moved to the relevant manufactuers boards.

The Samsung Galaxy S board has been merged with the Samsung board.
