Sorry for the double post, but I've just noticed someone has removed my signature, and I don't seem to be able to re-add it... Probably because it said I'd never buy a branded phone after the Froyo debacle

Hi Mr_H,

When we moved to the forum, signatures became an unlockable feature. We haven't removed any- for anyone else their old sig moved over, so I'm not sure why yours has disappeared.

Signatures get unlocked as soon as you give a correct solution to somebody or receive kudos for a helpful post, so it won't be too long before you can use it again.

Thank you for your response, I can see the logic behind that system. Apologies for the book burning comment, on reflection it was a bit harsh (obviously I've had too much caffine today!). Rather than clogging this thread up with posts about my signature, I might contact you via PM to discuss further

I imagine everyone is much more interested in keeping this thread on the topic of the Gingerbread update, and whether/when VF Desire users will be getting it.

From what I've read Orange will also be brining the update to their Desire users as well as Three. The better processing & hence better battery life would be very much welcomed. Any chance you could tempt a yes / no / maybe (or a soon / never / at some point) out of the technical team?
