Re: Spam posters

Hi Gal,

It seems we are joined by a certain Jennyconnor tonight... wonder who we will have tomorow.LOL

Been trying to move some of the posts but it appears he is posting just as quickly as i can move them on some boards! lol

Do people have nothing better to do...?

I guess it won't be too long before the legal team have to get involved.

Re: Spam posters

Yeah I can see them all being moved about - Getting a bit pathetic - If anything this person must have hundres of e-mail addresses to sign up so many times.

Bit Sad really. Hopefully Vodafone will sort it out - We all have complaints but end of the day we don't all go about spamming them everywhere lol

Re: Spam posters

It's really easy to use temporary email addresses, loads of sites out there issue them, i can only guess thats what he is doing.

Very sad that he has nothing better to do than this + not sure what he expects to gain.

Re: Spam posters

To be honest, based on whe claims I have seen, legal should be involved NOW

People can't post the sort of things this moron is against a company without providing evidence without coming under the lible laws

Re: Spam posters

To be honest I find it quite relaxing moving all the threads once they are posted. Must so annoying for the Spammer knowing that they are constantly failing to flood the site :-)

Re: Spam posters

I might not be correct, but I think that in order to get Legal involved you'd need some idea who this guy actually is, and if he has never replied to any of the forum team's emails then no-one may be any the wiser.

At the risk of sounding odd I think I can actually see where he is coming from.  That doesn't make what he is doing in any way right, of course !!

Re: Spam posters

He's posted texts and emails from vodafone. If vodafone know his mobile number, and the nature of his complaints is the charges on his bills', I'm 100% sure they have all his personal details. Thing is no one knows what his gripe is. His bills are no more than some of mine when I've been away on business and used the phone more. The charges could be 100% legitimate we just don't know. Just spouting random figures and slanderous name calling proves nothing apart from he has no idea on how to truly deal with issues.

Re: Spam posters

Whoever it is I have no sympathy for them, I doubt they even have a Vodafone contract. The requirement to sign up to the forum should be to provide your account number to access a login and post. Guests can view the forum but unless you are a Vodafone customer you cant post.

Just my thought

Bobbin,

We get a lot of posts from people looking to join Vodafone who want more info, this would exclude them and potentially lose customers.
