Re: posting on the forum

Hi winneog

Thank you for your post and it is great to see you here.:smileyhappy:

I am a little confused as your query is how to post and this was asked by posting a new thread, so it would appear you have mastered the forum.:smileywink:

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to post again by selecting New Message on the home page or selecting Reply on an existing thread.

Many Thanks

Re: posting on the forum

Hi winneog,

When in a section and you want to start a new thread, click the "new message" button at the top of the page.

If you're looking to respond to an existing thread, you just need to click "reply" or "quick reply" under a post.

Just make sure you're logged in first, otherwise these options won't all appear!

Re: posting on the forum

You need to be on the main listing page with all topics in that section...not on a single message thread

Re: posting on the forum

Hi winneog,

_365_ is spot on. If you want a new thread then that's when you click the "New Message" button, but for this you have to be in the main section with the list of threads, not in a thread viewing the posts as you were in the screenshot and as you are now.

When you're in a thread already like this already, this is where you need to use the "Reply" button under the post.

If you need to post a new thread in a specific section and you're unsure how to find it, follow this link to select the best section for your query and then when you get top the list of topics, you’ll see the new message button. You can't start a thread in "The community", but apart from that, you're free to choose.

Re: posting on the forum

I am a new user. So far clicking on this post has been the only way I have found to start a post. There is no "new message" button anywhere on the site. This forum is typical of my vodafone on-line experience, useless!

By the way, the post I wanted to write was that yet again there is no signal in Berkhamsted, whre I spend 90% of my time. And I am the one apparently who has to phone 191 every so often to find out when the mast was repaired and claim my refund of subscription. Customer service - pah!

Re: posting on the forum

Hi berkojules,

Thanks for your post here and I’m sorry that you have had trouble posting.

If you click here you can then start a new topic (thread) by clicking the new message button, add the subject and post with the information in this template in our network troubleshooting guide.

James
