Android Market Issues

Hi
I don't know if this is strictly within the remit of this forum but since purchasing my Desire I am unable to download any apps from the Android Market. I have a Google account but I keep getting an error message that there is no device associated with this account. My handset will not recognise my Google e mail address and password
Can anyone advise?

Thanks for posting, I can understand how this would be frustrating.
It sounds like your Gmail account isn't correctly recognised by your Desire or Android Market. The best way to resolve this is to remove the account and then set it up again via a factory reset. Instructions for how to do this can be found on our HTC Desire Help page, just click the Miscellaneous section.
