I now have my working DHD and have had a whole 3 hours with it. Most posts I have seen, or done, have been negative. What have people found good? So far, I think:
- the social integration is superb
- the migration of data from my BB was great
- the touch screen and keyboard are wonderful
- I have the feeling that the phone has a lot of expansion possibilities
I look forward to learning more about Android. I have an iPhone for work and thought learning another OS would be a good move. Will I be proved right or wrong!?

Had mine for almost a week, been a bit quiet on Twitter as I still tweak loads of things but the positives...
There's loads of other positives which are native to Android as well. My current setup consists of ADW Launcher, Smart Keyboard Pro/Swype and a few free widgets... Oh did I mention that it now has FULL root?
Can't wait until it gets a Recovery image.
The size certainly takes a while to get used to as does the weight but its a superb phone. I've opted for the leather HTC Pouch and InvisiShield combo but maybe later down the line I might opt for an OtterBox Communicator Case.
If you've come from the iOS with the iPhone then with Android be prepared to have near full customisation of how your phone looks and operates
- Massive screen with great neutral picture quality, contrast and saturation
- SenseUI upgrades offer welcome additions via HTCSense.com such as remote locking, phone finder, call forwarding and more
- Sensitive screen
- Massive amount of internal memory
- Decent call quality
- Fast camera with good auto white balance
- 720p video recording (quality is decent, I expect upgrades to this and the camera)
- Superb CPU and GPU
- Built in WiFi HotSpot Tethering and USB-Pass Through
