Re: HTC Desire - Android 2.3?

When upgrading just go to CPW as all their handsets are unbranded - end of problem!!

Re: HTC Desire - Android 2.3?

If you don't mind getting a branded handset then by all means get it from Vodafone. If you want updates quickly then get an unbranded handset

I unbranded mine as soon as i got it and never had any problems and have had Ginferbread on it for a long time now. If you ever need to send it back for warranty repairs, just flash the Vodafone firmware and it will be back to how it came in the first place.

[ Edited ]

Where'd you hear that? Not heard anything on XDA yet

EDIT: Yes there's a thread on XDA but no one has it yet and I won't believe it until someone has it. Wouldn't be surprised if the HTC rep is thinking of the Desire Z - even though the post confirms they're not
