I updated my phone and it is mostly working well but I am having problems when one of my contacts calls me.

I get the new answering page (where you drag the Acccept button into the ring) but it does not connect, then the phone program stops working (a little bubble pops up saying it needs to Force Close the program) and I lose signal for a few seconds. I can then call the number back but it is very annoying. I have tried this calling from other phones (landlines and mobile) but I don't have the same problem.

Anyone else had the same problem?

Have you tried creating the contact in question as a 'new entry' and deleting the troublesome one?

I deleted the old contact and re-inserted new details but still the message appears:

"com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly..."

Very strange!

Would I be right in thinking that the contact in questions is linked to a Facebook contact?

If so, try removing the link to Facebook on that contact and see what happens...

gdwhitehouse - Sorry it has taken me so long to get back on the forum - mince pies preventing me from getting to the computer...

However, I have unlinked my contact from Facebook and the problem has stopped - but it remains for all my other linked contacts with Facebook... Not ideal...

Is anyone else suffering this problem - is there a fix (other than unlinking all of my contacts...!)

I have no idea if its a 'widespread' issue, sorry. Is it *every* Facebook linked contact that has an issue or just a selection?

Only other thing I can think of trying would be to uninstall the FB app and then re-install and re-initiate the linking and see what happens. Other than that, maybe just turn of the FB syncing in "Account & Sync Settings" and suffer (LOL).
