Well I have just received No 4 LOL. Didn't ask for it but there it was! Didn't get any despatch txt notification either so wasn't expecting it. Someone else answered the door and accepted otherwise I would have just knocked it back. VF really don't know there a.r.s.e from their elbow. I once again had to brave the frontline that is VF customer support and arranged for a pick up tomorrow...only to receive a txt moments later stating I will receive a 'returns pack' in the next 10 days and could I pack up the phone and take it to a post office ensuring I get proof of postage. Obviously I called them back to say that this was not acceptable and after all the hassle I have had, they have a cheek asking me to waste more of my time to correct their error. I told them if they want it back, come and get it LOL. Suprise suprise my now good friend from DPD (seen him nearly every day over the last week) will be coming tomorrow for pick up!
PS. I obviously checked out the handset to see if it was of a better build quality than No.3 but it was the worst one I have seen yet!
Well DPD didn't show yesterday to pick up No. 4 handset! Then this morning I received a parcel which included a DPD bag and instructions for me to phone DPD to arrange pickup!!! (I would insert an angry emoticon here but of course VF don't have one...I wonder why?) Just reluctantly phoned VF to see what is going on. Spoke to one guy who put me on hold whilst he investigated then all of sudden was put through to some collections automated switchboard. Phoned back again, spoke to someone else who also said they would investigate then all of a sudden got put through to another agent..."Hi how can I help you?"....W.T.F.???? I told her what I will tell you now:
!!!!VODAFONE!!!! IF YOU WANT YOUR HANDSET BACK, WORK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF AND COME AND GET IT!!!!!
I am pig sick of wasting so much of my time on the phone to VF just to be hung up on, passed over to someone else who has no idea why I am calling, given several variations of a situation, all different and normally all wrong, receiving false promises of delivery, pick up, stock, etc, listening to hours of the same old hold music, receiving handsets I didn't ask for, waiting for deliveries/pick ups that never happen...etc....etc.....etc!
Rant over. Just to reiterate:
!!!!VODAFONE!!!! IF YOU WANT YOUR HANDSET BACK, WORK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF AND COME AND GET IT!!!!!

I appreciate this must be frustrating, we (eForum Team) can try to follow this up for you and get a resolution as quickly as possible. I've had a look through our eForum email chain and can't seem to find correspondence to and from your eForum email address.
I've sent an email out so we can look into following this up for you, if there is any other way we can help, we will certainly try to do so.

If the issue still persists it might be worth doing a device reset (not always the preferred solution), however I'm confident you've already followed this route on several occasions.
It is possible the issue may involve the sim card, please can you swap sims with another Vodafone device, then perform a battery pull before testing again.
Thanks

Thank you for your email, I have responded with the required information.
Why do you feel the need to change the subject of my post? The original said 'HTC Desire HD - IF YOU WANT IT BACK, COME AND GET' or something like that. This is not really any different to my post content. Can I assume this is because you don't want to draw attention to the atrocious customer service I have experienced? I don't think 'Returning Device' is appropriate either, if that was the case I wouldn't have had to make the post in the first place. Chance would be a fine thing.

Ive seen the mods post that they change the posts so that when people search it picks up the appropriate posts but if someone wanting to know how to return their handset found this post it would'nt help them at all so the only reason i can see for changing the title here is to make it look nicer on Voda.
