Monday this week my phone wouldnt connect to the mobile internet even with full signal i followed the vodafone APN configuration settings and it then worked again, untill thursday when it stoped tried to reset APN settings but didnt work this time, also tried factory reset on the phone this also didnt work. Has anyone got any idea's on how to solve this ?

Hi Matt915,

I must admit that this is a strange one, to be honest in these situations there is one main check to perform and that is to try your SIM in another phone and another SIM in your phone.

If the issue follows the SIM then we know that it is the SIM that is the issue and a free replacement will be needed from your local store.

If the issue follows the handset, we will need to get you to send your phone off to us for a free of charge repair.

I'd give this a go first and let us know how you get on.

Hi,

I tried that after I posted with an orange sim and I connected straight away then I put the Vodafone sim back in and it worked initially untill this morning when it stoped working again.

To answer your question I was using http://devicehelp.vodafone.co.uk/filestore/devices/HTC/Desire/HTCDesire_WEB.pdf APN settings which I found on Vodafone website.
