Hi,

I have a HTC desire coming next week and even though I am with vodafone I do occasionally use an o2 sim card. Will the desire be unlocked so that I can occasionally use my o2 sim with no problems?

Yes it'll be unlocked (or it should be)

EddyOS is right, all htc desires on vodafone haven't been locked.

I can confirm if you've brought the HTC Desire directly from Vodafone then it will arrive unlocked , however if purchased through a 3rd party it maybe locked.
