Hi,

My phone recently updated to 2.50.161.3 and now the standard text message app refuses to remember my delivery and read reports settings.  I tick the options boxes but if I change contact the boxes are unticked again.  If I text the same contact again I receive the delivery reports for a few texts then they are turned off again. Never had this issue until after the OS update.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Many thanks for your post here.

I haven’t seen this mentioned on the eForum before however I would firstly recommend you to back up all of your data and perform a master reset.

If this then continues to happen we will need a total of 5 people to say that they are having the issue before I can raise this to our devices team for testing.

In the meantime I would also look at other messaging applications such as handscent from the market place to see if you still have the same issue.

If anyone else is having this issue please let us know so that we can get it raised to our devices teams for investigation.

Thanks for the reply James.  I've tried a complete reset and still get the same issue but I'm using Handscent now to get around the issue.
