Hi Billx
Welcome to the eForum!
Oh no! Sorry to hear your phone has been stolen. Have you barred it?
2345 is our credit line for Pay as You Go customers they were probably phoning
to find out the credit.
I've sent an email in case you haven’t barred this phone as you may be liable
for any charges. I can also pop you out a SIM card if needed.
Thanks
BenJ

they might have thought it was PAYG that is the number to listen to your credit and top up.
They might have wanted to know how much they could spend...

Thanks for all the excellent help and advice, it is really much appreciated... and it yet again makes me glad we switched to Vodafone! The support is second to none. Just a final question, can vodafone tell me where the phone was when the thief dialled 2345/ It might help the police?
thanks in advance

There is a reply from an administrator on the forum on this previous thread which will answer your question. Although the poster is enquiring about a stolen iphone, the answer will still be the same for locating where the stolen phone was last used.

Hi Billx,
I know it's a bit late now, but I'd recommend a mobile security app. Personally I use the premium version of Lookout: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lookout
I did try this one too https://market.android.com/details?id=com.antiviru
Good luck with the situation ![]()

you should of used "plan b"
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lookout.
you install it from the website and it loads automatically so you install it AFTER your phones been nicked which is handy as alot of people dont install the security apps kos everyone thinks it will never happen to me.

I know it's not useful in this case, but I've just found out that the Desire S uses the new HTC Sense services which allow you to remotely sound the ring tone, lock, track & wipe your HTC from https://www.htcsense.com/uk/
You can also forward calls & messages too. I recommend signing up if you have the Desire S, it's not compatible with the original Desire though
I'll be uninstalling Lookout Mobile Security Premium now... & I just paid for a year, doh!
