Hello there.
Just got notified that there was an update for my phone on Jan 2nd 2012. Have done upgrade and dont seen any thing new .
Can anyone tell me what I should notice in new upgrade please?. Android v 2.2.2 Software 2.33.161.6 ?.

Since nobody here appears to have a clue what's changed in this update, is there somewhere else we can find this information?
Surely it can't be a secret?

Changelogs are never released so we'll never know. When you get the OTA notification it tends to mention something but as I don't have my Desire anymore I can't say (plus it was unbranded so I would've got a different version anyway)
EDIT: XDA thread (from an o2 user) mentions it as a 'System maintenance update' but someone says it could be due to a patent issue Appple won over HTC:
