Well I'm glad its hopefully sorted for those of you that had to wait so long for a fix/update. I gave up weeks ago and tbh I haven't regretted it one bit. I'm getting two and a half days battery life now through custom roms......I'm happy!

Oh well spoke too soon. Looks like they've gone back to the old WiFi sensitivity settings which makes it unusable at work. Vodafone/Google/HTC really need to get their act together....so when is the next update?????

We've had no other reports of this since the update. Can you please describe the exact symptoms you're experiencing so that we can look into this? If you could double check the software version your phone is now running too that would be great, thanks.

Software version 2.50.161.3

I updated it last night. I only notice the WiFi issue because my office is on the edge of the WiFi here and if the disconnect is set to -95db then it's ok. This was the reason that 2.50.161.2 was released because the previous update set it at -85db and messed a lot of people up.

Me again....scratch the previous statement about the WiFi.....on further testing it turned out to be a problem here at my end which has now been sorted!! :

Not clear on what to do now.  I have 2.36.405.8 and am being offered 2.50.405.2.

This is, I assume an HTC rather than Vodafone update?  Should I go with it or not?

Installed 2.50.161.3 this afternoon. GPS contact lost twice after 15 mins but did a battery pull and since then it and Navigation has been working fine. Good to have the use of Navigation once again.

If anyone hasnt received the update, then you can manually search it out, via :-

Settings, About Phone, Software Updates and hit the check now button.

I had rebooted and everything, but nothing flashed in the top bar about updates, so I had to do it manually. 

Now I am gonna go outside and check to see if it works.  If it doesnt, then expect to hear from me, if the does, then good night and so long suckas

Well, the only thing it's fixed is that the GPS can be turned off again. Nav still doesn't work and if it finds any satellites they're at such a weak signal strength they're ignored. To test it I've run it right next to my N73 which can usually find at least 6 or 7 and have full signal strength. If i use the BTGPS app and the Nokia GPS it finds them then. The internal GPS worked fine before and now it doesn't. I've cleaned the antenna connections to no avail and i've downloaded various GPS apps and they all say low signal strength. Nothing has happened to the phone except this update shambles.

So where do we go from here then?
