Lost paperwork for repair

Hi i took my HTC Desire Z in for repair at my local vodafone shop this time last week, and my boyfriend in his infinite wisdom binned the paper work with the job number on it by mistake.

I havent recieved a text yet as to whether its back in the shop but apparently it was supposed to take a week, could you provide me with a new job number so i could track it, and will i still be able to pick up the phone without it?
