Anybody know anything of an update being pushed at the moment?

Dad's just got a notification of an update, not sure what it is.

What did it say on the screen? It normally tells you how big the update is and what it's for

All dad said was that it mentioned OPTOUT. I'll have to get hold of the handset when home at the weekend for the full message but just thought id see if anybody else had seen it.

The information we have is that the last update that went out for the Desire was on the 5^th of December and was a Twitter and Google related patch.

Is it possible that he hasn’t checked for updates in a while and has accidentally done it today?
