desire s screen unresponsive

my desire s screen often goes unresponsive at the bottom of the screen and along the menu buttons at the bottom of the phone (home, back, search etc). the only way i can get it to work is to squeeze the bottom of the phone. really irritating. any suggestions please?

Re: desire s screen unresponsive

I'm guessing only repair will fix it, as some contact got loose. Call 191 and arrange for Voda to send you a pouch or take it to Voda store.

Re: desire s screen unresponsive

Hi drfg

Thanks for your post. Based on what you've described I would suggest that this is more than likely a hardware fault if the menu buttons are unresponsive. We can arrange a repair in store or via postal repair and you can find more information here - Repair a faulty handset or device.

If you'd like us to arrange a postal repair then I've sent a private message with details of how to contact us directly. You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks

Simon
