Well it's mid January now and still having problems with it displaying united kingdom, has anyone managed to fix this and how?

I am having the same problem with my desire, started about a month ago.

Also a couple of weeks ago the same thing happened to my wife's desire.

Woke up this morning and the weather app is showing my current location. Maybe it has been fixed?

Don't hold your breath fella, mines been very intermitent for a while now, i live in London and before October time i use to always get local weather info as to where in london i was, now i get just UK or London if im lucky, not which part of London i am in..

I don't use the Vodafone ROM so I don't expect this is actually a Vodafone issue.

Got a mate here with a Sensation on 3 with the same issue.
