I've just done the update (now 3.14.161.27) it's "forced" Google Chrome and Google Play Music onto the phone...
Also something called "Best Deals"; pity they didn't free us of BBRevol2 Trial and Apps and Games (I know they can be hidden but still..)

I'm impressed! VF get the update out before the unlocked handsets!
My One X has the CID HTC__001 and there's no jelly bean for me yet.
HTC - Brilliantly Disappointing.

"Bug*er" , CJM.. I thought I would be the first to announce this ;-)
BEFORE seeing this post, I checked my phone (have been sadly doing so on a daily basis), and there was a 1.25? Mb update. Whooooo, I'd heard rumours that there is a SMALL file, followed by JellyBean :-).
1.25Mb completed in no time, and phone re-booted. Mmmm. Nothing showing.
I then went into "Check for updates" again, and Yessss, it's here :-) Downloading now.
I DO believe in SantaFone ;-))
Nice one
:-))

Thought you'd have it by now. Why not flash the RUU as it's on XDA?

No, it shouldn't wipe your phone
Ensure battery is fully charged though, and it is RECOMMENDED that you are not plugged in to charger when downloading/installing.

Thanks in advance for your answers.
What's the differences between this update (jellybean) and the previous version? To be honest as an android noob, I'm struggling to see them.
Thanks again.

There is quite an extensive list, so you'll probably ebetter to Google 'What's new in Jellybean'.
ome of the enhancements are 'transparent' (background operations and actions), and then there are the visible changes.
Certainly an improvement.
Cheers

downloaded it last night.
As far as i can tell there dont seem to be a ot of differences.
--It force installed Google Chrome, Play Music, Play Magazines and "Best Deals".
--You can now scroll through all your home pages (when you get to the end it just loops rounds rather than bouncing back)
--The "Productivity" lock screen now shows the time and weather, the calendar items can nwo also be scrolled through.
--Power Saver mode option is now in the drop down menu along with options to customise it
Chuffed that it is finally out, was hoping for some snazzy visual updates too. i recently got the JB update on my Samsung 7" Tab and it changed the look of the hompages, folders, icons etc.
But thanks VF for the early christmas pressie - i'm sure more tweak will become apparent as someone more qualified than i has a proper poke around.

Well done Vodafone!

I too got a small upgrade today, but it is only an update to 4.0.4 ie. ICS. Nothing is showing when I check for updates thereafter. Are you lot jumping to conclusions about getting 4.1?

As a sysadmin, I rather ashamedly didn't have a live internet connection in the office on our wireless. Having checked again, I cansee the update and yes it's 4.1 i.e. JB.
