So what with the news that finally sky go is coming to ICS,Android 4 at the end July,im struggling to find anywhere that the app is going to be compatable/be able to use on the One x.

All i can find is that its going to be on the line up as previous (older htc's like desire,sensation etc) & the samsung note & google nexus

Does anyone now if its coming to the One x at all?

From what I can find out for you the Sky Go App is not compatible with the One X at the moment.  In fact it is not currently compatible with any device running Icecream Sandwich.  I have found out that, according to T3 anyway, Sky Go should be available for ICS at the end of this month.  I haven't been able to find an official statement from Sky.

All I can suggest is that you wait to see if your device is supported when Sky Go launches for ICS.

Apparently the new version of SkyGo will be released by the end of the month for ICS phones including the Note and the Nexus. This means there may be other new phones supported, but makes no committment. Typical Sky mushroom treatment (keep them in the dark & feed them ****).

I remember reading somewhere, that Sky are reluctant to release Sky Go for the One X, because of it's ability to send the signal on, to any tv through the hdmi link.

Sort of kills off the need to pay them for multiroom.

They can disable that in the app, the same way they do on the iPhone apparently

You say we can use hdmi cables with the HTC one x do we need the hd hub thing or can get a cable plug in to device and tv and it work ?

 You will need an Mhl adapter that plugs into the phone. Then the Hdmi lead and phone charger plug into that. Works well.

I got this(removed eForum T's&C's) one when it was first available for my Sensation and it works fine on my One X as well.
