Web Pictures to save??

Hi all,

Sorry but I cannot seem to find information regarding how to save any pictures from the web.

Example if I'm on Pistonheads or Ebay or Autotrader (we're car searching!) on my old BlackBerry you could click on the pictures and in the menu there was a save image option but on the One X there is nothing and I cannot figure out how to save any pictures.

This is seriously bugging me especially as I'm a car nut who loves car pictures on his phone, so if someone could help a numpy nugget work this out I would be very greatful.

Regards Zaffy.

Moderators, I posted this in the wrong section, was meant to be in the HTC ONE X section, feel free to move it there.

Hi Zaffy,

Just something I found over the weekend that might help.
If you have Chrome installed on your phone and PC you can send links between the two so easily.

Taht might be overkill, but again see if Chrome has that functionality, its quikcly shedding its current beta attributes so might be worth a look. There are other browsers too that might offer that ability.

Re: Web Pictures to save??

Thanks for the info but thats probably a bit beyond me and my limited ability tbh.

Ive installed the two apps that thesoupdragon recommended but still no luck.

If I dont get any joy here this week then I'll have to see if I can go into the VF shop this weekend.

Though I am keeping fingers crossed for someone to have a brainwave lol.

Regards  Zaffy

Re: Web Pictures to save??

Ok I just checked Chrome, long pressing on an image allows you to copy the link or save link as (if the image was a link) or save or open image.

So yeah, install Chrome :smileyvery-happy:
