Whilst it looks very shiney, and some bits are very good, to say it's flakey is an understatement!
Keeps freezing the phone - the only work-around is to take the battery out.
Suggestions?

When mine updated I had issues with my camera kept crashing along with a little bit of lag etc.........performed a system factory reset and problem solved so I'd suggest doing that first unless you have already tried that?

I'm having quite a bit of trouble too. Keeps crashing here and there, about twice a day. The new update is also VERY S-L-O-W at times. Will be doing a backup and reset. The multiple accounts accessability on GMail is very useful though - hope that can still be installed without the new platform update.

I sorted this out ages ago. Please read the forums before posting, we hate to repeat ourselves.

Hi there
I'm having similar problems since updating my phone. I've tried factory resetting and it hasn't helped much. Mostly it works fine then it seems to get stuck and the touch pad stops working. I'm sometimes lucky and can tell it to power off using the roller but othertimes not.
Is there any thing I can do?
The phone was working fine till before the update... is it possible to rollback and have the old 1.5 or 1.6?

Lots of problems after the update here and a stock machine with no mods too.
Baseband version 62.505.20.17U-2.22.19.261
Kernel - 2.6.32.9-27237-gbe746fb android-build@apa26 #1
Build FRG83D
Two factory re-sets done but still;
Camera justs brings up the viewing screen but then does not take pictures, has no zoom, can not move to camcorder and will not undo out - has to be a home or red button to exit.
Gallery - black xcreen - does nothing.
Navigation - clunky sometimes get to destination input then sticks (GPS works fine in maps) or just locks up when starting.
Any help would be appreciated.
Chers

You need to perform a hard reset. Do not do a factory reset while the phone Is on. Follow the Instructions I posted earlier.

Just done all of the recommended actions in the other thread (twice just for good measure) and still the same problems as before.
Any thoughts?
To recap - most significant problem is the camera. The app starts and the camera shows an image which moves as the phone moves. However it will not take a picture, it will not switch to camcorder and the back and menu buttons have no impact. the only way to get out of it is to hit the power button, then unlock the screen and then your back on the home screen.
Cheers

This sounds like a major issue with the phone Itself. I'd send It to be repaired If I were you. Sorry for the bad news.
