Hi, had my phone a few days now and loving it. Also new to Vodafone and finding them pretty good as well
I do have one issue with my phone though, I have my wifi connection at home set up with a hidden SSID. The phone's set up and works fine apart from one thing, when I connect to a different network, say work, when I come home again the phone will not automatically connect to the hidden network, it just says scanning. However, as soon as I go into the wireless settings, it starts to connect, I don't even have to click on anything, merely open the wifi settings screen.
If I go out and then come back it's fine, as long as I don't connect to a new network in the mean time. Turn the phone off and back on again and it connects fine. It connects automatically at remembered non hidden SSID's as well.
It's a bit of an obscure problem, just wondered if anyone else has come across it and a fix or an app that sorts it out.
Thanks.

Do you use locale? When out of range of your home wifi you could get locale to turn off wifi (saves battery) - automatically turn it on again when in work - when you leave work it can turn it off, and finally when back home turn it back on. Might help with your situation.

Hi Paul_Magic,
Welcome to the wonderful world of the forum.
I think John's got a point there, have you tried this at all? I know it's not the most convenient, but I personally, aren't sure about this one.
The best thing to do at this point is to hand over to the other users of the Magic, who may be able to offer more assistance.
Cheers,
