Clock / Weather

Ive not got my phone yet, hurry up tomorrow haha.. But ive seen on researching all the other HTC's that the latest ones have a cool function.

If you have the clock with the weather widget on your home screen, what ever the weather is at that moment is shown in the background like an ever changing wallpaper.

Ive seen that the Magic doesnt have that, just a basic version that can just change weather dependent on current location etc

Anyways, I wondered if there is an app or something so I could possiblt have that newer version of the colck/ weather thing.. As it looks awesome lol

Yep weather widgets paid is probably exactly what you're looking for (screenshots here - http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...ther2-pEp.aspx) there are plenty of other decent widgets though that take up much less home screen space.

I've got the weather widgets paid; about 2 months ago the latest update advised that HTC had told them to stop making it look like HTC sense ... hence your animated rain etc etc. So be careful, try it out first before you buy. I haven't updated my weather widgets paid for 2 months as it'll take away the HTC sensesque look ... probably ... daren't risk it anyway :)

There's a bejillion weather apps though of varying size, look, quality and price ... download all of them and give em a go :)

The update removes the look but you can re-apply it from the list of approved skins :)

Whats the app called that shows current weather with the time..? I was led to believe that was a pre-installed app on your phone... But seems there is only this dodgy horrible looking clock that will be going asap lol.

Its a Beautiful Widget, which I think is £1, can't remember. There is a larger one so it looks like the HTC clock but I like having my calendar as well so used the smaller version.

You get a 24-hour refund period if you don't like it.

Go back into market and if your within 24-hours of purchase select Uninstall & Refund

Certainly helps for the more expensive apps although I still think its a silly rule to have on the Android Market. What would be better is a trial version instead and many apps do offer one. Sounds like you're having fun with the phone though ^_^

Defo Defo hehe.. Just adding mountains of music at the moment, love that I can just put a whole album on this phone and it will arrange it. Well my iTunes already being OCD'd helps haha. Everything is named properly.

But Im just working my way through it, even starting to remember where certain things are now haha. But thus far its a (cheesy pun time) magic experience haha

If you use iTunes on your computer, try out a cool app called Tunes Remote r2. It lets you use your Android phone as a remote control for your iTunes library. Pretty cool if you have your computer on and you're sitting back relaxing.

Noticed some of the customer reviews of Weather Widget - Donate as its called, if its the correct one. Some people commented on the animations and said it would be made better if it actually rained down the screen, or snowed etc... Are they being morons and it does indeed do these things..?

I cant change the weather to find out lol.. Havent added the app yet, just thought id ask, as someone mentioned it, so sure someone can fill me in lol.
