I have HTC Magic 32B vodafone, and i want to know if the official update is available or not??? so i can update

I really want to update my phone, PLZ HELP.

I beleive the final update for the HTC Magic was to Android version 2.2.

Which update are you waiting on?

I'm on the Update 1.5

I just want 2.1 or higher so i can install whatsapp and the other Apps on my phone.

So is this the last official update? And if i return to the original rom of vodafone am i gonna have an update message?

The official 2.1 update was pretty horrible (have a quick search on here and you will find out)

Are you running a custom ROM?

If so you would never have had the update notification. I'm not sure that it would still be available now.

The only real option would be to use a custom ROM based on Android 2.x. I think Cyanogenmod 6.1 is based on 2.2

Doing this would void any warranty you may have left, though I wouldn't have thought you would have.

I woudl be surprised if Google are still rolling it out. You will probably need to obtain the appropriate updated files and do it manually

After wht I read about the 2.2.1 update .. i think i'm gonna try a custom rom based on 2.x firmware ... really thank u
