According to several websites the EVO 3d is to be released on Vodafone UK in July, see link below.
HTC Evo 3D coming to Vodafone UK in July
Can someone working for VF confirm this is true?

From what I've read across the web, the HTC Rider is rumoured to be the HTC Evo 3D, but that doesn't seem to fit with the news that Vodafone will be selling the "HTC Evo" in July. Note they don't mention the 3D bit of the name, so it's a little confusing.
There's been very little concrete news on the Evo 3D's release date but it is expected to arrive in Europe, but it would be unusual for HTC to stick with the American name of the phone.
Time will tell, I'm interested in seeing this phone (3D) in action, sounds great.

Hi Guys,
I must admit that I have just done a little research online and the phone looks good from the specification that I have seen online.
However at the moment we currently don’t have any details for you regarding these devices, the only thing that I could advise at this moment would be to register on the coming soon page of our website, this way we will send you all the latest releases when we have confirmation of them. ![]()

Can a Vodafone rep confirm a release date for us please? If not a ball park date?

Hi Eddy,
Thanks for the reply.
I just spoke to a vodafone representative via the live chat who said 'the last week of July'
The question now is, can I keep my upgrade that long or am I going to settle for the similarly specced Sensation.
Also, forgive my noobyness, but CPW?
Cheers for the input.

They only stock unbranded handsets and I'd ALWAYS recommend getting unbranded as you don't get operator crapware installed on it. Upgrade will be available as long as you're out of contract, there isn't a cut off time. If there was people would just move onto another operator otherwise

also, scratch that, the penny has dropped! I didn't think that CPW was stocking it? I thought they'd gone for the LG 3D offering?

Sorry for the ambiguity Eddy, the time restraint on my contract is not a vodafone problem, it's purely down to my inability to control my impulse buying and keep my 'kid at christmas' psyche in check.
I'll keep my eye out for CPW stocking it but I haven't heard anything about it so far...
