Morning,
for some reason, over the last couple of days my Magic has stopped saving any new contacts I enter. They're there for a few minutes and then just disappear. I'm not aware that I've done anything to the phone to make this happen, all the settings are the same as they were previously.

Wondered if anyone has any ideas?

Welcome to the eForum it is always good to see new faces on here.

I have to admit that is a new one on me, the only thing I can suggest is doing a factory reset.

Before doing this please make sure you save your numbers, pictures etc as these do get wiped from your phone when doing this.

If this does not resolve this, I would then recommend a repair.

I've had the exact same problem. I don't know whether it's caused by switching from a googlemail to a gmail account?

It is exactly that u3p03. Be sure to reflect any changes made to your email account if you have changed it from GoogleMail to GMail. another Voda mod special..oh we have no idea - but factory reset just in case...two minutes of research would have told you to ask if someone has recently changed from googlemail to gmail.......if you dont know keep quiet!

Please can someone tell me how to transfer contacts stored on HTC Magic phone/memory card can be transferred to sim for me to put in new phone
