Hello!

 

With this mobile, I do believe that this has the NFC facility, and you can have a Vodafone Smartpass account, yet there is a list of mobiles that are listed for this service  with Vodafone Smartpass / TFL etc and this make is not listed.  Will this still work?

The list of approved devices is, sadly, out of date.

 

In order to use Wallet/Smartpass with the onboard NFC, you need the following:

1. A compatible device.

2. To be running Vodafone software. If you got the device from Vodafone, it will be.

3. To be on Vodafone's new billing system - the old one isn't compatible.

 

If all these things are present, you can request an NFC SIM, which containts the secure element that allows the system to work wit hthe onboard NFC.

 

If you can't do that, you can still use Smartpass with the separate tag, but it won't be integrated with your phone for payment, only topping up and tracking use.
