HTC One M8 Software Update

Has anyone recieved a software update for their M8, I recieved mine last night (24-08-2015) but can fint any information about this update.

I'm now running Software Number 4.19.161.3...

Hand set was running slow and laggy after update so have done a Wipe Cache Partition, running fine now.

Ive had a look via a Google search but cannot yet see the items included in the software update. 

You could ask  HTC directly via their contact us link on the HTC UK Support site. 

When you received the notification I assume it didn't say anything about it before accepting the update. 

My it is usually advised to perform a factory reset / hard reset after an update to get rid of old files etc especially if the phone seems to be buggy after the update.

yeah ive just got the update myself it was just mainly bug fixes and a few other things that we wouldnt even notice

FWIW, I always clear Recent Apps and restart the device before doing a firmware update.  The idea is to give it as many of its resources for the process as possible.  It seems to work...
