If you can't factory reset then try a hard reset ->

If this fails to resolve the issue then if you obtained the phone via Vodafone you can drop it into a store and they'd send it off to be looked at under the 24 month warranty or you could approach the HTC Uk Support site for assistance.

Hi there

have you recently updated apps? If so one of them could be the cause. Try uninstalling any recent app updates and see how you get on.

Have you recently updated its firmware ? If so carry out a factory reset or hard reset to clear out any old files. Make a back up first to save data in the phones memory. Remove any SD card (handset dependant)

Before that tho please try turning the phone Off and On to soft reboot it.

I've not updated anything. My phone was charging and then it just started turned off and since then it keeps rebooting. Everytime it reboots I get the same text. My phone won't stay on long enough for a factory reset...it turns off midway. Any other suggestions would be welcomed, thanks

Have you tried powering it down and leaving it switched off for a few minutes?

I've tried the hard reset and it works! All I have to do is restore from backup. Thank you so much...I was this close to giving up :Smiling:
