HTC Sensation Help

I have just recently upgraded my contract to the new HTC Sensation. Within 2 days of having the phone i had several problems with the sound and self rebooting. I added apps like - Vlingo (which doesn't work unless my way of speaking is wrong, this also may be the reason as to why it was mucking about and malfunctioning) and after using that app for the first time my phone rebooted and when I went to change my ringer volume back to vibrate the only option I got was 'media volume' So I took the battery out and that seemed to work fine after that. I added music and photos from my old phone to this one and played music for a while. After coming back to play some music around 4 hours later it wouldn't play and all I got was a black screen, none of the touch bottom functions worked and I got a message to 'Tell HTC' of this problem which i did- TWICE. After all this rebooting and malfuntioning i took it back to the store and they replaced it with a new one saying that i must have had the duff one in the pack. I am happy to say it has only mucked up once during 2 days of owning it, however i am worried that after my 7  day phone exchange garentee that the phone will muck up and im unsure if insuracne will fix the problem. If insurance cant fix it, am i enttled to get a new handset?? Either the same phone or the Galaxy s2 which im considering changing the HTC sensation for now before its too late.

The HTC has alot going for it however im in two minds as to whether to stay with it and let insurance deal with thefuture problems or to play safe and get the galaxy while i can..

If you've had any of these problems i'd like to know and any advise  :smileyvery-happy: Please help .. Julia

[ Edited ]

Got mine coming today, have 7 days cooling off if things aren't right. Although I'm sure the issues are down to early firmware and the update coming soon will fix a lot of the problems

Vodafone FW - 1.24.161.1
Unbranded FW - 1.34.401.1

I assume Vodafone will get an update soon

HTC One X (S720e)
ROM: 3.14.401.31 (JRO03C)
HBOOT: 1.39.0000 | Recovery: Stock
Radio: 5.1204.162.29 | Kernel: Stock

Re: HTC Sensation Help

Not yet, but hopefully one is coming very soon - perhaps this one will even have the S-OFF option needed to really start optimising this device.
