HTC Sensation XL Problems

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if you can help me out. I'm not sure if this is an inherent fault with the HTC Sensation XL model, however whenever I place my phone down on a surface (Wood/metal/kitchen counter/desk/etc) and try to use the touchscreen, my finger location is not registered properly or there is another "ghost" finger. I mainly use my phone (due to it's big size) on a surface as opposed to my hand/etc, so any help would be appreciated, because it's really hard to use and kind of disappointing me.

Anyone? Anyone at all?
Not sure what I should do here. Send it to repairs or what.

Hi momentai,
I must admit that from what you have said it does sound like a fault with the screen or its sensors.
However the first thing to try would be to calibrate by pressing the Menu – Settings – Display – Calibration – G-Sensor calibration – Place on a flat surface – Press calibration – After the recalibration process press OK.
Try the screen again, if this still has issues then the next step would be to send this away for a free of charge warranty repair.

I'll see if that fixes it and come back with some results in a week or so.

I think there is something wrong with the metal backing or something...
