HTC Sensation and ICS problems

Since installing ICS my phone has slowed to a crawl with Apps taking on average 30-40 seconds to open, going back to the home screen takes the same and it completely reloads each time. Having read other people’s problems on this thread it seemed that a complete factory reset was required having taken the necessary backups I reset the phone. Now I’m unable to sync my phone with my outlook calendar or contacts I keep getting a warning dialogue box “Unknown error occurred! (1000)” a slow phone is now the least of my problems any suggestions please?

Hi oneeasygeezer and welcome to the eForum
Thanks for your post here. I’m sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
I’ve had a search around the internet and due to the vagueness of the error message from HTC, there’s very little information.
Once suggestion was to copy the PST file from your computer and load it to another and then sync from there.
Can you give this a try and let me know how you get on?
Thanks
Wayne

First reinstall htc sync
If that doesn't work, do a factory reset from recovery.
Pull battery
Hold down -vol button and press power button shortly
In the bootloader screen the will be options, scroll down to recovery with -vol key and press power key to enter.
Find factory reset or data wipe (something along them lines) and perform it.
Reinstall htc sync
HOPE IT SOLVES IT FOR YOU.
