HTC Sensation constant MSM texts

Yesterday I upgraded my HTS Senstation operating system and since then keep getting SMS Text messages simply with the numbers 01207, 01388, 01457. The option is to cancel or save. If you hit save it sits in message box and appears to be from simpy 50. It is driving me nuts - any suggestions on what it is or how to stop it. Thanks.

Hi dougie123,
You don’t need to worry as these messages are simply cell broadcasts that have been switched on by the update.
To stop these from being sent to you simply press Menu – Settings – Call – Cell broadcast – select OK.
This will remove the channel list for you and stop the messages from coming through.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
James
