£60 worth of free movies was promised in the brochure and I acquired the phone and monthly contract by the deadline of Sept 30th. No-one at the Voda shop or the helpline knew how to get it but HTC pointed me to a registration page on the Vodafone (not HTC) website. However, when I click to get the coupon it says I am not eligible and refers me to the Ts&Cs. Not a very good user-experience, quite honestly.

thinks its a con my self i got the phone on a business contract cant have the free 60 quid of movies cause i didnt get the phone on line where does it say that on the advert it doesnt not happy

Apparently, when you try to buy a film, it gives you the option to use the Vodafone 'voucher'. unless you have an unbranded handset, in which you won't get that option as it's based off the phone's CID (VODAP001 as opposed HTC__001)

when you fill in the htc form with vodafone cid its says you cant have it its a rip off

The CID is on the phone, it's not something you fill out. It's how it checks you have a Vodafone handset

Then you'd know you don't type it into a website

Either way, yes it's a con. I have an unbranded handset but don't ever plan on using HTC Watch so I'm not particularly fussed

For clarity, as long as you:

a) Connected or upgraded on Vodafone to the HTC Sensation between the 19th August and the 30th September,

b) connected direct through Vodafone either online, over the phone or in-store
