I've very happy with every aspect of my HTC Sensation aparts from its performance as a phone.

I'm planning to get rid of our landline but the one thing that's stopping me is the very poor reception on my Sensation handset which, as many others have reported, fluctuates wildly even when the phone is stationary. This is particularly the case at home, which is 1 mile from the centre of Newbury (aka Vodabury) and, according to the signal strength maps, should have good coverage. The SIM was replaced when I acquired the phone, about a year ago.

Any suggestions about what I can do - either in terms of improving the performance of my current handset or replacing it - would be much appreciated.
