HTC Sensation update

The word on the street is that HTC plan on unlocking the boot loaders for HTC devices. This however I assume will be done via an ota update. Now what I would like to ask is that is that would vodafone release this update or are they planning on keeping the boot loader locked?

Re: HTC Sensation update

It'll be released to everyone, Vodafone would be stupid to block the update as it's an HTC decision not a network decision

HBOOT: 1.39.0000 | Recovery: Stock

Re: HTC Sensation update

Nevertheless it's still a good question. What is Vodafone stance on this? Mods?

Re: HTC Sensation update

Its not a good question as you will get the standard firmware response from vodafone ie we have no information at present blah blah blah. Until Htc say anything there will be no news.

Re: HTC Sensation update

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately as cjm1979 says, we currently have no information about this however I can't see any reason why we would block this update from being sent to our devices although I can not promise anything when it comes to future releases or updates.

Re: HTC Sensation update

Looking forward to this update, hoping it won't take too long as looking at the unbranded and devices on other networks our ROM is already falling behind.
